Newtown Farm Hosting Month-Long ‘Harvest Festival’ Throughout the Month of October

Hortulus Farm promises a bountiful array of family-friendly activities, pumpkin picking, mouthwatering food vendors, and seasonal delights.

Hortulus Farm, located at 60 Thompson Mill Road in Newtown, has announced the commencement of its month-long Harvest Festival, set to captivate visitors every Saturday and Sunday throughout the month of October.

This immersive Fall experience promises a bountiful array of family-friendly activities, pumpkin picking, mouthwatering food vendors, and seasonal delights that encapsulate the spirit of autumn on the weekends of Oct. 14, 21, and 28.

“Our Harvest Festival is a testament to our commitment to providing the quintessential elevated Bucks County experience, infusing wholesome and seasonal family fun into every moment,” said Jon Kontz, the Executive Director of Hortulus.

“We invite guests of all ages to immerse themselves in the enchantment of autumn.”

The heart of the Harvest Festival lies in the special Harvest areas, where guests can obtain individual Harvest Passes (complimentary for children under 2) for exclusive access. These areas oer an abundance of delightful activities and experiences:

  1. Pumpkin Picking & Painting
  2. Hay Bale Pyramid
  3. Corn Pit
  4. Sheep Petting Farm
  5. Gold Panning at Boulder Falls
  6. Imaginative Play at Fairy Hollow Houses
  7. Shop Produce & Meet the Baby Chicks from Hollow House Farms
  8. Potato Sack Races (Daily at 11 AM) & Corn Husking Competition (Daily at 2 PM)
