The Morrisville lottery ticket was one of the largest drawn in the area this year.

A shop in Morrisville has sold a major lottery ticket, and now officials are looking for the lucky winner so they can claim their prize.

Smoker’s Express, located at 813 West Trenton Avenue, sold a jackpot-winning Pennsylvania Lottery Match 6 Lotto ticket worth $2.7 million from the Oct. 3 drawing.

“The ticket correctly matched all six winning numbers, 12-25-36-43-44-46, to win the $2.7 million jackpot prize, less applicable withholding,” lottery officials said online.

Players can find out if they are lucky enough to have bought a winning ticket by scanning it using the ticket checker at an official lottery retailer or using the Pennsylvania State Lottery mobile app.

The name of the Bucks County winner of the prize has not been publicly released.

Just in the past year, the area has seen multiple winning tickets sold at various venues. Some of them include a $450,000 ticket sold in Southampton last month, a $244,00 ticket sold in Middletown back in April, a $50,000 ticket sold in Bensalem back in December, and a $1 million ticket sold in Doylestown in November.
