The lucky winner bought the lottery ticket at a local tobacco shop.

A retailer in Bucks County has sold a hefty lottery ticket, and one lucky winner is able to claim their massive prize from the establishment.

American News & Tobacco, located at 522 Second Street Pike in Southampton, recently sold a Cash 5 ticket worth $450,000. For selling this winning ticket, the shop is being rewarded with a $500 bonus.

Players can find out if they are lucky enough to have bought a winning ticket by scanning it using the ticket checker at an official lottery retailer or using the Pennsylvania State Lottery mobile app.

The name of the Bucks County winner of the prize has not been publicly released.

Just in the past year, the area has seen multiple winning tickets sold at various venues. Some of them include a $244,00 ticket sold in Middletown back in April, a $50,000 ticket sold in Bensalem back in December, and a $1 million ticket sold in Doylestown in November.
