The nonprofit from Doylestown will be hosting the third annual "Light the Night Pink" event in Newtown on Oct. 12 from 6 - 9 PM.

A well-known nonprofit from Doylestown will be hosting another community event in Bucks County to raise awareness for breast cancer patients.

Main St., formerly known as Pine2Pink, will be hosting the third annual “Light the Night Pink” event in Newtown on Oct. 12 from 6 – 9 PM in the areas of South State Street from Centre Avenue to Washington Avenue. All proceeds from the event will go on to help the nonprofit in its mission to aid those battling breast cancer.

“We close off State Street to cars and allow the community to come out and enjoy a fun evening to raise money for Main St.,” the nonprofit said on Facebook.

Attendees will be able to participate in and enjoy raffles, “Sip & Shops”, live music, food and vendor tables, and much more.

“The evening will also include the First Annual Mr. Bucks County Fashion Show and Award Ceremony,” the Newtown Borough Police Department said on its official CrimeWatch page.

“Bring your friends and family [to] have fun for an amazing cause!!”
