The late painter’s oeuvre showcases plein air landscapes of New Hope, contoured by the Delaware River. His work also features interior scenes and etchings.

He taught at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts for over four decades and settled in Cuttalossa after traveling around Europe with his wife, Mary Franklin.

Garber has amassed many awards and gained prestigious titles, such as being elected a member of the National Academy of Design. His work can be found in the American Art Museum in Washington, DC, and the Philadelphia Museum of Art.

The auction will be held on November 3 at 1 PM in person and online.
