The Middletown Township Police Department is looking to hire new police officers, and it is offering resources for people to apply.

Beginning on Oct. 12, the department began its hiring process so that more officers could join the force. Headquartered at 5 Municipal Way in Langhorne, applicants can print and complete the application and hand deliver it to headquarters, send it through the postal service, or complete it electronically and send it to agaffney@mtpd.org.

“Prior to handing in your application, please ensure that all the documentation is completed, use the attached checklist to help with this task,” the police department said online. “There is NO fee to take this test.”

Those eligible and interested have until Nov. 8 at 4:30 PM to apply. The official tests will be held on Nov. 11. The physical agility and written tests will both be conducted that day at Neshaminy High School, located at 2001 Old Lincoln Highway.

“There is a very quick turn around time on this test, so do NOT delay in applying.”
