Love Britpop Music? This Historic Theater in Bucks County Will be Playing All the Hits
The Newtown Theatre will present “The Best of BritPop & Beyond” featuring The Wankers on Oct. 26 at 8 PM.
Straight from Manchester by way of New Jersey, The Wankers perform classic after classic from icons such as Coldplay, Oasis, Radiohead, The Verve, Travis, Blur, Supergrass, Stereophonics, Echo and The Bunnymen, The Smiths, and many more. This concert will transport you back to the days when guitar bands ruled the world.
Tickets are available at the link here for $37 per person or $32 for theatre members. Any remaining tickets will be sold for $47 at the door on the day of the show (if available). All seating is general admission.
Beer, wine, and canned cocktails will be available for purchase at the theatre before and during the show. The theater is located at 120 North State Street in Newtown Borough.
The theater will also host singer Tony Sands and his six-piece big band playing Frank Sinatra on Oct. 15.
