A flower farm in Bucks County will be showing local residents how to properly press flowers in a fun event this weekend.

Rise & Shine Flower Farm, located in Kintnersville, is hosting a “Flower Pressing Workshop” in Pipersville on Sept. 16. Those who are interested can register online. The event will be held from 10 AM – 12 PM.

Attendees will be given an 11×7 flower press with all the tools they’ll need to get started.

“Take a walk around Southern Pines Flower Farm to [choose] your special foliage and blooms, gather in the barn for a simple walk-through of how to properly press flowers,” the flower farm said online. “With guided instruction, you’ll start filling your press!”

The event is being organized by the Bucks County Flower Collective, a group made up of members of the farm.

“My intense passion for gardening developed over the years into more than just creating a garden oasis for clients,” the owners of the flower farm wrote on the website.
