The U.S. Chamber of Commerce has selected America’s top 70 small businesses, and one Bucks County business has made the list.

The Greater Knead, headquartered at 1690 Winchester Road in Bensalem, was one of two Pennsylvania companies that were named on the list. The other was Bluebird Atelier, based in Lewisburg.

The Bucks County company creates a wide array of food products that are gluten and allergen-free, allowing those with dietary restrictions and allergies to enjoy bagels, chips, and pretzels, among other foods.

These and other companies were evaluated on their business growth, ability to overcome challenges, innovative strategies for success, and community engagement.

“Small businesses embody the resilience and innovation that define America’s free enterprise system,” said U.S. Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Suzanne P. Clark.

“As a former small-business owner, I know firsthand there is no challenge greater and no reward sweeter than starting a business. Individually, each small business represents a familiar face, a trusted name, and a vital part of the fabric of their community.”
