Little libraries have become a common fixture in townships and boroughs around the country in recent years, and Bucks County is full of them.

A resident of Bucks County built a new local fixture with her grandfather as part of a major project before she leaves for college.

Aubrey Williams of Wrightstown worked with her grandfather, Maurice, to paint and touch up a “little library” in the township this past week. The little library is located outside of the Wrightstown Township Municipal Office and Police Department, located at 2203 Second Street Pike.

“Building the Little Library was Aubrey’s last scout project before going off to college,” Wrightstown Township said online. “Best of luck with your future plans!”

Little libraries have become a common fixture in townships and boroughs around the country in recent years, and Bucks County is full of them.

Last year, St. Paul’s United Church of Christ in Sellersville officially opened its Little Garden Library with a ribbon cutting and dedication service. Back in December, Tim Fisher of Feasterville created a little library for his community as part of his Eagle Scout project. That one now stands on the premises of Playwicki Farm in that township.
