The Feasterville resident built a little lending library for his community.

An Eagle Scout from Bucks County just completed his final project, which will allow local residents to have access to incredible books.

Tim Fisher, a resident of Feasterville and a Neshaminy High School senior, recently created a new Free Little Lending Library, which he built in order to fulfill a requirement of becoming an Eagle Scout.

The little library now stands on the premises of Playwicki Farm, located at 2350 Bridgetown Pike.

Fisher, a member of Boy Scout Troop #153, overcame dyslexia in his youth. His creation will help local children have access to books they want to read and help them hone their reading and writing-appreciation skills.

With the help of other scouts and a few community volunteers, Fisher was able to complete his Eagle Scout project, which utilized books that were donated for the project. Members of Playwicki Farm’s board, his parents, and board members of Lower Southampton Township were present for its recent unveiling.
