An author from Bucks County will be celebrating her latest work at a new and popular distillery this fall.

Hops and Hardware Distillery, located at 101 Cedar Street in Bristol, will be hosting “Bloody Marys & Books” with local novelist Lydia Michaels. The writer will be using the occasion to celebrate and discuss her new work, “Immortal Bastard”, the latest installment in her “The Order of Vampires” series.

The event is set for Oct. 28 at 12 PM. Michaels referred to the distillery as one of her “favorite haunts,” and the literary event will be perfectly timed for those looking for something fun and engaging the week of Halloween.

With over 40 novels to her name, Michaels was named the 2018 and 2019 Author of the Year Award by Happenings Media. She has also been featured by USA Today, Romantic Times Magazine, and the Women in Publishing Summit, among other publications.
