"Pearl S. Buck International is thrilled to offer this opportunity to the men and women serving their country and their families, who all sacrifice so much for us," the nonprofit said online.

A nonprofit in Bucks County will continue to aid visitors and their families who have served their country.

Peark S. Buck International, located at 520 Dublin Road in Perkasie, is once again participating as a Blue Star Museum. The listing is a free admission program from the National Endowment for the Arts and Blue Star Families for active military and their families through Labor Day on Sept. 4.

“Pearl S. Buck International is thrilled to offer this opportunity to the men and women serving their country and their families, who all sacrifice so much for us,” the nonprofit said online.

The nonprofit focuses on the legacy and impact of Pearl S. Buck, who was known for her 1931 novel, The Good Earth, which documented life in rural China. During her life, she was a large proponent of the adoption of Chinese-born children, making her one of the first Americans to advocate for mixed-race adoption.

The organization now works to help those facing poverty and natural disasters around the world.
