Two Montgomery County Towns Rank in Top 5 of Niche’s Best Places to Live in America
Niche recently released its 2023 Best Places to Live in America and Montgomery County was represented in the top 5, with both Ardmore and Penn Wynne ranking high.
Niche ranks thousands of places to live based on data from the U.S. Census Bureau and expert insights. Here is how Ardmore and Penn Wynne scored.
Ardmore
Ardmore, with a population of 14,391, came in at No. 3 on the list with an overall Niche Grade of A+. Its public schools also earned a grade of A+. Ardmore rated high as a good place for raising a family.
The suburb also earned high spots in other Niche rankings: No. 2 on Best Places to Live in Pennsylvania, No. 2 on Best Suburbs to Live in Pennsylvania and No. 4 on Best Places to Raise a Family in Pennsylvania.
One current resident said in a review, “Ardmore has been a wonderful place to be raised. There is so much to do in and around Ardmore. The neighborhoods are quiet, which is quite nice. The neighbors and friends you meet while living in Ardmore are the best!”
Penn Wynne
Penn Wynne, with a population of 6,226, came in at No. 5 on the list with an overall Niche Grade of A+. For its public schools, it also scored an A+. Penn Wynne is also considered a good place for raising a family.
The suburb earned high spots on other Niche rankings too: No. 1 on Best Places to Retire in Pennsylvania, No. 3 on Best Places to Live in Pennsylvania and No. 3 on Best Places to Raise a Family in Pennsylvania.
One current resident said in a review, “Penn Wynne is a cute, generally friendly place to live, and there are many vibrant places nearby and some activities to do. Philly is very easily accessible.”
