Middletown Fire & Emergency Services, located at 3 Municipal Way in Langhorne, will be hosting this year’s “Fire Prevention Expo” at the Restaurant Depot, located at 1661 East Lincoln Highway in Langhorne, on Oct. 7 from 9 AM – 3 PM.

Those in attendance can enjoy displays of local fire trucks, ambulances, and other police vehicles, along with Fire/EMS/Police demonstrations, various food trucks, local vendors, face painting, children’s fingerprinting, and a fire safety inflatable house, among other fun activities.

The Department of Fire and Emergency Services is responsible for responding to emergencies, preventing and reducing the loss of life, preserving property and the environment, and promoting public safety.

“They respond to daytime fires and complete investigations of all fires throughout the community,” the department said online. “They also help prevent fires, disasters, and other emergencies as well through annual business inspections, education programs, training for volunteer emergency responders, and many other prevention activities.”
