An elementary school in Bucks County is offering local residents the chance to meet the school’s new principal.

Mill Creek Elementary School, located at 6501 Mill Creek Road in Levittown, will be hosting a “Meet the Principal” event on Aug. 22. Dawn Martesi, formerly the assistant principal of Harry S. Truman High School, was recently named the new principal of the elementary school. She will be joined by Superintendent Michael Nitti.

Members of the community and parents in the school district are invited to come and meet the new principal.

Martesi holds a a bachelor’s degree in Education from St. Joseph’s University, a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Holy Family University, and another Masters in Reading Instruction/Literacy from Cabrini University.

In taking her new position in the school district, she replaced Dr. Sharon Vitella, who retired this month. This event will offer local residents the chance to get to know Martesi and her plans for the school.
