The season of sunflowers is upon us, with farms throughout the region offering both pick-your-own experiences and Instagram-worthy photo opportunities, writes Franki Rudnesky for PhillyVoice.

In Bucks County, Hellerick’s Family Farm in Doylestown opens its Sunflower Days on Aug. 15.

The farm has several sunflower fields featuring differing flower varieties, and visitors can walk or take a hayride through all of them.

If you are looking for a great setting for your next family photo, reservations for the farm are currently open and can also be made online. A ticket to the sunflower fields costs $14.99 and it includes one free sunflower and admission to the Adventure Farm area.

The adventure farm includes dozens of family-friendly activities, including a wagon ride, numerous animal experiences, as well as a corn maze that becomes available in September. There is also a corn chute slide, climbing spider net, a corn box, and so much more.

Hellrick’s Family Farm is located at 5500 N. Easton Road in Doylestown.
