A popular brewery in Bucks County is gearing up for the Halloween season with the return of a popular autumn ale.

Neshaminy Creek Brewing Company, located at 909 Ray Avenue in Croydon, is bringing back a popular fall beer for those looking for something different. “Young Pumpkinstein” is described as a medium-bodied Märzen-style Lager with a toasty malt character brewed with allspice, candied ginger, cinnamon, and nutmeg.

“The beer brings to mind freshly baked bread and ginger snaps – a fall favorite around here,” the brewery said online. “The bright pumpkin spices and classic German hops, Herkules and Hallertauer, compliment the Young Pumpkinstein’s dry finish.”

With an ABV of 5.2%, this is the second year that the beer will be made available to fans of the brewery. The beer will be available this Friday at all three Neshaminy Creek taprooms, with distribution throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey to follow.

With a name and can artwork paying homage to Mel Brooks’ film “Young Frankenstein”, the beer is a perfect complement to the upcoming fall weather and the festive Halloween season.
