A popular brewery in Bucks County will be releasing another new beer this weekend, which pays homage to a classic film.

Neshaminy Creek Brewing Company, located at 909 Ray Avenue in Croydon, will be offering a new beer on Saturday.

“Mecha Dry” is a Japanese-style Rice Lager similar to American-style Light Lagers. The higher carbonation adds to the dry and refreshing finish and has an ABV of 5%.

“This mechanical titan of terror is a pale yellow beer with a lighter flavor profile with some residual sweetness balanced by a subtle bite from hops,” the brewery said online.

To celebrate the release, the brewery will host a special screening of “The Terror of Mechagodzilla” on 16mm film at the brewery in Croydon. Tickets are available online.

Electronic Eats will be on site for the night and we may or may not have purchased a popcorn machine to make this a real night out at the movies!”

A limited number of cases will be distributed throughout Pennsylvania and Maryland.
