‘Blown Glass Ornament Workshop’ to Be Held at Bucks County Brewery this Fall
A popular brewery in Bucks County will be showing local residents a fun artform to create their own unique pieces.
Neshaminy Creek Brewing Company, located at 909 Ray Avenue in Croydon, will be hosting a Blown Glass Ornament Workshop on Nov. 18 from 12 – 6 PM.
“We’ll show you how to add color, heat the glass and blow your ornament. After it has cooled you’ll cut off the stem and add a metal ornament hook,” the brewery said online.
Each participant will be able to blow threee ornaments at $60 per person, and each ticket includes their first beer. Additional ornaments can be made for $20 each if time allows.
“Most participants are not professional glass blowers, so plan on leaving with some funky shapes, that you probably didn’t do on purpose. Hair must be tied back in order to work at the torch.”
Tickets can be found here. The event is open to all ages, but organizers will do the torch part for kids under 16.
