A popular art program will be returning to Bucks County this summer, with several local venues showing incredible art.

Officials from Lower Makefield Township have confirmed that the annual “Art in the Park” program will begin in June. Several location in and around Bucks County will serve as spaces for sculptures and other artistic endeavors by local and visiting artists.

The program is a partnership with the township and AOY (Artists of Yardley) Art Center, The Seward Johnson Atelier and with the help of Visit Bucks County Art Grant Program. AOY donated $2,500 to the project, while the Township committed $5,000 to the project. Visit Bucks County granted the Artist of Yardley an additional $7,500 for this project.

“This will allow the Township and the Artist of Yardley to imbed 8 sculptures throughout the parks and implement programming that encompasses all forms of art to include visual and performing arts,” organizers said online.
