The new restaurant is preparing to open their doors in the near future.

A new seafood restaurant in Bucks County is getting ready to open to the public, and they are sharing little hints about recent updates.

Blue Point Grill is getting ready to serve up wonderful dishes at 3 West Road in Newtown, right next door to the Township’s TD Bank location. Their social media recently posted a picture of the new sign, saying that they are “one step closer” to opening.

Back in August, the Newtown Township Board of Supervisors approved the use of the former Corner Bakery Cafe location to be used as the new location for the New Jersey-based seafood restaurant.

The Corner Bakery Cafe, which was acquired by Pandya Restaurant Growth Brands owned by Newtown entrepreneur Jignesh Pandya, filed for bankruptcy back in February.

Fresh seafood, New England clam chowder and lump crab cakes will now be available to hungry Newtown residents.

Approximately 145 people will be able to fit inside, and an additional 36 people can be seated on the outside patio area.

Owners of the restaurant are currently looking to hire staff and are working in dishes at their Princeton location.
