The former owner of Center City’s Pinefish recently opened the Fayette Street Oyster House & Grill in Conshohocken, reports Noah Zucker for Philly Voice.

The new steak and seafood-focused restaurant is the brainchild of Peter Dissin, with the menu offering crab cakes, salmon with parmesan cream, and tuna with fioe gras, as well as filet mignon, new York strip steak, and tomahawk chops with the bone-in.

“It’s been quite a ride operating Pinefish for the past six years in Philadelphia, and now I’m ready to bring a larger offshoot to the suburbs,” Dissin said. “I have a lot of experience with restaurants in Conshohocken, and I think this is a concept that the area has been greatly missing.”

They are focusing on craft cocktails as well, along with local craft beers, red and white wines, and a cocktail lineup created by Lê from Chinatown ‘s Hop Sing Laundromat.

The Fayette Street Oyster House & Grill is located at 128 Fayette Street and is currently open for dinner Wednesday to Sunday, with plans to expand into brunch and lunch service later this year.
