Looking to Dispose of Your Old Documents? This Township in Bucks County Can Help

Residents can dispose of their documents at the event.

A township in Bucks County will be offering residents the chance to dispose of their old documents and more in the near future.

A free shredding event will be held at the Lower Makefield Township Building, located 1100 Edgewood Road in Yardley, on July 15 from 9 AM – 12 PM. The event is being sponsored and organized by the Kim Rock group from Keller Williams Real Estate.

Attendees can bring two containers of paper documents to shred. Organizers ask that no one brings stiff metals, plastic bags, or anything else that could potentially jam that shredder.

“Bring your items needing shredding to this wonderful FREE event,” event organizers said online. “They will also be collecting for the IFA Food Pantry, if you have any canned good donations to bring along!”

Just recently, State Senator Steve Santarsiero and Representative Tim Brennan oversaw a massive shredding event that saw 14,000 pounds of paper shredded in Doylestown.
