Recent Shredding Event in Bucks County Sees 14,000 Pounds of Paper Shredded

A recents shredding event in Bucks County saw thousands of pounds of paper disposed of and countless people fed through community efforts.

State Senator Steve Santarsiero, along with Representative Tim Brennan, oversaw a massive shredding event over the weekend. The event saw 14,000 pounds of paper shredded.

Along with this, a large amount of food was donated to the Bucks County Opportunity Council.

“Special thanks to the students from Central Bucks High School East who volunteered throughout the event,” Santarsiero said online.

The event took place at the high school, located at 2804 Holicong Road in Doylestown.

“Thanks to our staff for all the hard work and thank you to all those who came out and donated food or used our shredding service,” Brennan said.

Events such as these give local resident the opportunity to dispose of unneeded and unwanted documents and other items in a safe and effective manner. They are typically held in various locations through the county multiple times a year.
