A basketball player from Bucks County has just committed to a major university, continuing her successful career in the game. Andrew Robinson wrote about the player for the City of Basketball Love.

Ava Renninger, who plays for Archbishop Wood High School in Warminster, has just committed to Fairleigh Dickinson University. She discussed the influence that her time on the Bucks County team has had up to this moment.

“They had my back from the start,” Renninger said. “They haven’t been off and on, they’ve always wanted me. It’s been a good fit, I felt like it was meant to be and I knew they wanted me to be there.

Renninger is not the only Archbishop player on fans’ radar right now.

Jalil Bethea has been having a great summer which he rounded out recently with a strong dunk that resulted in a shattered backboard. The amazing showings from the 6-foot-4 rising senior have continued to push him up in the recruiting rankings.

Her commitment to the college is another accomplishment for the local school’s basketball team.
