TMA Bucks has announced that Miles Cole Martir of Fairless Hills has been selected to receive a $2,000 TMA Bucks Foundation Scholarship.

Martir, who is set to graduate from Bucks County Technical High School, will be furthering his education at the University of Colorado – Boulder this upcoming fall where he will major in sustainable planning and urban design.

TMA Bucks and TMA Bucks Foundation executive director Stephen Noll presented Martir with a certificate on May 31 with his guidance counselor Lisa McWilliams and mother Amy Martir in attendance.

“After meeting Miles, there is no question that this scholarship is going to a most deserving individual,” said Noll. “I have no doubt that the TMA Bucks Foundation is helping to fund a bright and productive future for a very ambitious gentleman.”

The Joseph DiGirolamo Scholarship is a one-time award to be paid directly to the college and recognizes Bensalem mayor Joseph DiGirolamo, who was the founder of TMA Bucks and served 11 years as president of the board of directors.
