Yardley Restaurant Celebrates One Year of Mediterranean Food with Upcoming Birthday Bash

The chain is celebrating one year in Bucks County this week.

A restaurant in Bucks County is celebrating a year of business in the area with a unique dish being served to all customers this week.

Pita Chip, located at 1623 Big Oak Road in Yardley, will be celebrating its one year anniversary in Bucks County on May 22. To commemorate the occasion, the restaurant will be celebrating with a Baklava Birthday Bash, with all customers receiving a complimentary piece of house-made baklava.

Proceeds from the day’s sales will benefit Yardley Makefield Soccer’s program.

Pita Chip’s menu includes scratch-made hummus and sides, as well as salad bowls, rice bowls, and wraps featuring chicken shawarma, beef & lamb shawarma, falafel, and roasted vegetables. The restaurant has locations at 3601 Market Street in University City, and 1600 North Broad Street at Temple University.

The quick-serve restaurant was founded in 2015 by Omar Alsaadi and Mouhanad Kabbani. Alsaadi, who immigrated from Syria to Pennsylvania in 1979, has spent most of his life cooking recipes influenced by his country of origin in the Philadelphia area.
