A nonprofit in Bucks County recently collaborated with local high school students to promote safe driving through a fun and interactive contest.

TMA Bucks, headquartered at 7 Neshaminy Interplex Drive in Feasterville-Trevose, recently took in entries for this school year’s Teen Driver Safety Video PSA Challenge. The program is a collaboration with the Trevose-based nonprofit and Comcast.

All area high schools had the opportunity this year to produce and submit a 30-second video public service announcement on any aspect of teen driver safety as part of the TMA’s annual Bucks County High School Seatbelt Safety Challenge.

“We showed the teens what to do while driving and what not to do as a passenger through education, interaction, and fun,” said Carly Mannon, manager of the TMA Bucks Community Traffic Safety Program.

“Students had the opportunity to rotate through multiple stations including a driving simulator, mock traffic stop by police, blind spot demonstration, vehicle service station, drunk and distracted driving information and take part in an interactive presentation.”
