Temple University to Host Athletic Coaches’ Talks at a Popular Bucks County Restaurant

A major university will be hosting an event for alum in Bucks County, offering sound advice in a popular local establishment.

Temple University will be hosting an alumni event at the Green Parrot Restaurant Pub & Patio, located at 212 North Sycamore Street in Newtown, on June 7 from 6 – 8:30 PM.

The “2024 Temple Takeover Tour” will feature talks by coaches and other higher-ups within the school’s athletic department.

“We’re headed to Newtown, where you will get to hear from football coach, Stan Drayton and basketball coach Adam Fisher, as well as Diane Richardson from women’s basketball, Linda Hampton-Keith from volleyball, Rebecca Grzybowski from women’s rowing, Nick Bochette from women’s soccer, Jennie Salmon from women’s fencing, and Bonnie Rosen from women’s lacrosse,” the association said in an email to alumni.

The event will give Owls the chance to meet each other and rekindle college friendships, as well as to participate in contests and win prizes at the popular Newtown establishment.
