Bucks County School District Creates New School Bus App for Students and Their Families

A school district in Bucks County has developed a new app to help both students and their families get the transportation they need.

The Bensalem Township School District has announced a new school bus app that will allow families in the district to keep track of their bus arrival and departure times.

“We are excited to announce a new App available for our students & families,” the school district said online. “Sign up today to receive a notification if your bus is delayed. Bus updates are sent instantly to our website and the App on students & parents/guardian’s phones!”

Names “Rally’s Bus Status”, the system gives those in the district the tools to notify students and their families about school bus delays and cancellations. Updates are automatically sent to parents’ and guardians’ phones.

“The Bus Status mobile app is free to download from the App Store and Google Play. Parents and students select their bus(es) in the App and receive a push notification any time one of their bus(es) is delayed or cancelled.”
