Two physicians from Bucks County will be taking on assistant professor positions at a well-known university in Philadelphia. Staff writers at PR Newswire wrote about the physicians and their new positions.

Dr. Robert Kelly and Dr. H. David Qu, the founders and lead physicians of Bucks County’s Pennsylvania Pain and Spine Institute, have been appointed as new assistant clinical professors at Temple University.

Kelly and Qu, whose practice is located in Chalfont and Quakertown, have a goal of providing quality care to patients in pain as well as educating the local community on how to best cope with chronic pain conditions.

“We have always put an emphasis on education in our practice,” said Kelly. “Whether it is inviting residents to shadow and learn from our providers or doing educational seminars in the community, we have always had a goal of helping others learn and inspiring the next generation of pain physicians. We are honored and excited to take on this new responsibility.”

The pair join the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. As assistant clinical professors, they will help provide medical students with hands-on experience and teach them about the science and treatments for pain syndromes.
