Students and staff from the local school made their way to Harrisburg last week.

A technical school in Bucks County recently made its way to the state’s capital to celebrate technical education and careers.

This past week, student and staff from Bucks County Technical High School, located in Fairless Hills, made their way to Harrisburg to celebrate “Technical Education Day”. They were greeted by State Senator and Bucks County native Steve Santarsiero for the occasion.

“We are fortunate to have such a high-quality institution in our community where students emerge ready to join the work force,” Santarsiero said online.

“I have long been a supporter of the Tech school and was happy to help them secure $1 million for building improvements last month.”

The school offers hand-on technical education to students around the area, including the townships of Bensalem, Bristol, Falls, Lower Makefield, and the boroughs of Yardley, Tullytown, and Morrisville. It is located at 610 Wistar Road and has been in operation since 1955.
