The Masons are known for hosting breakfasts like these throughout the year for various causes.

A Masonic hall in Bucks County will be continuing a longstanding annual tradition in order to celebrate Memorial Day in the area.

Doylestown Lodge No. 245, located at 55 East Main Street in Doylestown, will be hosting a Memorial Day Sausage and Pancake Breakfast on May 29 from 7 AM – 12 PM. Adults pay $8, while children under 10 pay $3. Children six and under eat for free.

“Per tradition, the Lodge will be hosting a pancake breakfast event and marching in the Doylestown Memorial Day Parade as town celebrates our 155th Memorial Day event,” the Masonic hall said online. “We will be serving pancakes and sausage, as well as coffee, juice, etc.”

Proceeds from the event, along with all other donations, will go on to benefit the Help For the Heroes Program.

The lodge has been the central hub of York Rite Freemasonry, a Masonic tradition, in Bucks County since it opened in 1850.

“With over 500 members, Doylestown is one of the largest and most active fraternal lodges in the state of Pennsylvania.”
