Author, Addiction Recovery Speaker Brandon Novak to Speak at Holy Family University

The former "Jackass" star will visit the university for a lecture.

Holy Family University will be hosting best-selling author and addiction recovery speaker Brandon Novak on May 6 from 10 AM – 2 PM at the university’s Campus Center Gymnasium, located at 9801 Frankford Avenue in Philadelphia.  

The event is free to the public, and the venue includes free parking. This event is being sponsored by Holy Family’s Collegiate Recovery Program.

Known for his roles on the popular television and movie series “Jackass”, Novak has also been involved in the shows “Viva La Bam” and “Bam’s Unholy Union” with his former entertainment and skateboard colleague, Bam Margera. He published his first memoir, “Dreamseller”, in the fall of 2008.

In addition, this event features Nicholas Emeigh, associate executive director of National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Bucks County PA. 

Guests will also have access to a resource fair. Featured organizations will include:

  • Brooke Glen Behavioral Hospital 
  • Family Services of Montgomery County 
  • Project Transition
  • Sanare Today 
  • Plus a range of services and organizations supporting individuals impacted by mental health concerns and addiction.
