A new ice cream shop in Bucks County is coming closer to opening day, and local residents are in for a sweet treat with this new dessert spot.

The Newtown Ice House is setting up their new location on 156 North State Street in Newtown. The shop will be a nearby addition to the popular Yardley Ice House, located at 77 South Main Street in Yardley.

The ice cream shop’s owners announced that the new location will open on April 15.

“Things are getting serious!” the shop’s owners said online. “See you Saturday at noon!”

Known for their various ice cream and water ice flavors, the Yardley shop is bringing their popular options to customers in neighboring Newtown. The close proximity will give local residents the option of stopping in either town while also spreading their reach to residents and visitors of Bucks County.
