Historic Bucks County Theater to Host Annual Performance of Classic Music Piece
A popular theater in Bucks County will be hosting an annual musical event that is sure to be a hit amongst attendees both young and old.
The Newtown Theatre, located at 120 North State Street in Newtown, will host the Newtown Chamber Orchestra’s annual performance of “Peter and the Wolf” on April 23 at 3 PM.
This narrated, family-friendly concert includes audience participation, an instrumental “petting zoo” that gives children the chance to touch musical instruments and speak with their players, and a take-home booklet of fun educational materials.
Children and adults will discover the beauty of live classical music and enjoy a fun and nurturing educational experience. The concert’s length and content are sensitive to the attention span of young children.
Tickets are $25 for adults, $20 for theatre members, and $15 for children 12 and under when purchased online. Tickets purchased at the door on the day of the performance are $25 for everyone.
