Faith Wood, a Pennsbury High School graduate, loves connecting with residents as part of her job as a Community Assistant at Kutztown University, writes Gina Glantz for The Keystone Newspaper.

Wood, who is also an art and literature lover, is majoring in communication design with a focus on illustration. Despite being a sophomore, she already knows what she plans to focus on in her career: designing logos and posters.

Wood is busy outside of the classroom as well and takes part in the Design Alliance, hall council, and the National Residence Hall Honorary. The Design Alliance has helped her make connections with other students in her major.

“Also, it’s helping me learn more about design, which I’m very interested in,” she said.

Wood also sells art commissions and is currently working on a character sheet and a self-portrait that shows how somebody can change their behavior in front of other people.
