A popular race is coming back to Bucks County, and participants can use their funds to help fight a particular disease prevalent in our society.

The Newtown Shamrock Shuffle 5K is scheduled to be held on March 11. The event is held in order to raise money for A Love for Life, an organization that works to help prevent pancreatic cancer.

One of the sponsors for the event is The Temperance House, located at 5 South State Street in Newtown. The race begins at 9 AM and racers must finish by 10 PM. The race will take those participating through the historic area of Newtown, offering a beautiful sight during a fun event.

Just in time for St. Patrick’s Day, the race will see local residents dressed in green, running in order to help those who are in need.
