The Sellersville oncology group filed a lawsuit on Sept. 5 at U.S. District Court in Philadelphia.

As they look to expand their operations in the area, the CEO of a major healthcare group discusses using land in Bucks County for new centers. John George wrote about the supposed plans for the Philadelphia Business Journal.

Dr. Joseph Cacchione, the CEO of Jefferson Health, is looking to change the company’s staffing model, as well as expand operations in the Northeast.

In Bucks County, where the health group has a location in Langhorne, Cacchione and his company are looking at a 41-acre farm site, located at the corner of Stony Hill Road and the Newtown Bypass in the Lower Makefield area.

“The property is in an ideal location with the highway access,” Cacchione said.

“We are going through a planning process right now. We are looking at our footprint, and how that parcel could fit into our strategic planning.”
