Two police departments in Bucks County recently joined forces to stop some wayward animals running around a busy road.

The Hulmeville Borough Police Department, with the assistance of the Penndel Borough Police Department, stopped two escaped horses that were running through Main Street in Hulmeville on Tuesday afternoon.

The dark brown horses galloped down the road, getting very close to a few cars, before authorities were able to wrangle them back to safety.

“The owners responded quickly and both horses were able to be wrangled safely,” the Penndel Borough Police Department said online. “Thank you all who assisted in their safe capture.”
