Author’s Series at New Hope Venue Offers Chance for Engaging and Relaxing Trip

A popular venue in Bucks County has become known as a perfect spot for couples visiting the area, and now they are hosting literary events. David Christopher Kaufman wrote about the event for the New York Post.
The Author’s Series at the River House at Odette’s is a perfect way to take a relaxing domestic trip that will also provide you with an opportunity to exercise your brain. The elegant, 38-room hotel in New Hope introduced the comprehensive series in collaboration with the independent Doylestown Bookshop.
The series runs throughout the year and features leading authors who are staying at the hotel and mix and mingle with guests as they do book signings and private readings, as well as meet-and-greets.
Renowned writers such as Julian Sancton and Julie Carrick Dalton have already been in residence.
Writers who are scheduled for future visits include Jill Santopolo on April 26 and Lynn Steger Strong and Sarah Cypher on October 25.
The series is an experiential “nod to Bucks County’s literary heritage and strengthens New Hope as a destination where visitors and locals can continue to celebrate the arts,” said Ron Gorodesky, president and CEO of Refined Hospitality, which runs the River House.
