A Bucks County musician is returning to the area for several shows in support of her latest album, which received rave reviews last year. Dan DeLuca wrote about the singer in The Philadelphia Inquirer.

Natalie Mering, known by the stage name Weyes Blood, is heading back to her home area for two shows to support her latest album, “And In The Darkness, Hearts Aglow”. She will be performing Union Transfer in Philadelphia on Feb. 28 and March 1.

A native of Doylestown, Mering is a graduate of Central Bucks West High School. She credits working at the popular Siren Records as one of the moments that influenced her to pursue music.

That, and, of course, seeing hardcore legends Converge play at Lenape Middle School as a child.

““I always loved music,” says Mering. “I played piano and guitar when I was a kid.”
