The co-owner of the local brewery is making suggestions for the upcoming game.

As the big game approaches, one Bucks County brewer shares his thoughts on the best companion drinks to enjoy the special event. Maddy Sweitzer-Lammé wrote about the suggestions for VinePair.

The Super Bowl is just days away, and fans are starting to gather their essential foods and drinks to enjoy the game. These leaves a question on many people’s minds: what is the best beer to enjoy the game with?

Rob Jahn, the co-owner and founder of Neshaminy Creek Brewing Company, located at 909 Ray Avenue in Croydon, has an answer for local residents.

“I think I’ll be sticking with Firestone Walker’s Pivo Pils,” Jahn said.

“It’s hoppy and crisp but not going to knock me out before halftime. Days like Super Bowl Sunday are marathons, not sprints, so something with a relatively lower ABV like Pivo is a safe bet. Plus, it’s one of the best examples of a pilsner that is readily available.”
