A Bucks County legal organization recently made a donation to another similar office in an effort to promote local law education.

The Bucks County Bar Association & Foundation, located at 135 East State Street in Doylestown, recently made a donation to the Legal Aid of Southeastern PA, a nonprofit based out of Norristown. The Bucks County organization presented a check worth $6,500 to the nonprofit, an affiliate of the Pennsylvania Legal Aid Network.

The check was presented during the association’s event titled “Come Together… Civility Within the BCBA: Perspectives from the Bench, WLD, YLD, & Diversity Committee”.

“Thanks to Bucks County Bar Association & Foundation for supporting our Network’s Legal Aid of Southeastern PA with a donation at their recent event!” the legal aid network said online.

The county’s Bar Association is one of the oldest in the country.

“We are dedicated to providing our members, potential members, and all persons and organizations connected with the legal industry, support and fellowship for the advancement of the profession.”
