Banking Summer Internship

This position will be an 8 week internship from June to August 2023. Interns will be able to interview executive and senior leaders, develop presentation skills, receive resume building guidance, as well as participate in community service hours at a nonprofit.

The ideal candidate will be currently enrolled in a bachelor’s program in Finance, Accounting, Economics or similar major, and have a 3.2 GPA or above. Candidates must have a track record of outstanding academic performance and the willingness to contribute in a team-oriented environment.

Sales and Service Representative

This position’s responsibilities include providing exceptional customer service, participating in sales campaigns, demonstrating strong product knowledge and cross-selling aptitude, and being capable of developing relationships with customers/prospects. Other duties include processing customer transactions efficiently and accurately and communicating with management and coworkers.

The ideal candidate will have associate’s degree in Finance or related field with at least 3 years related banking experience. Candidates should have previous sales and customer service experience, strong computer skills, organizational and time management skills, and the ability to work with little or no supervision.

Credit Analyst

This position will develop complete analysis of business and financial risks of potential borrower, complete full loan approval memo based on current bank policy, and monitor loan portfolio and assist in reporting of various loan quality measurements. Other duties include preparing and maintaining financial statement worksheets, as well as compiling, evaluating, and analyzing a broad range of borrowers, both businesses and individuals.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or related field with at least 2-3 years of previous credit analyst experience. Two requirements are loan memorandum preparation and debt service analysis experience, with CASH (or equivalent) Financial Statement Spreading experience preferred.
