The reopened school will be a welcome addition to the school district's locations.

After a healthy amount of funds went into a renovation project, a middle school in Bucks County is scheduled to reopen very soon.

Benjamin Franklin Middle School, a part of the Bristol Township School District, has announced their reopening to take place on March 6. This comes after a renovation and expansion project that cost $53,900,000.

Formerly the location of Keystone Elementary School, the learning center has served the community for many years.

“The School Board is proud of the adaptive reuse and modernization of the original building. We are very excited to see students learning there soon,” said School Board President Jim Morgan.

Upon its opening, students of the nearby FDR Middle School will see their school closed and will begin attending the new education facility.

“Students and staff are excited for the transition to Ben Franklin and to start using all the new learning spaces,” said Principal Kevin Boles.
