A popular distillery in Bucks County has become known for its wide selection of drinks and incredible atmosphere. Heather McGurrin wrote about the distillery for Visit Bucks County.

Ashlynn Distillery in Morrisville is an independent distillery that makes small batch premium spirits and offers something interesting and new to its patrons.

The bar is made out of 75-year-old reclaimed barn wood that is accented with glowing honeycomb-style shelves lined with the distillery’s bottles, including Summerseat Vodka, Ashlynn Bourbon, Whiskey, Rum, and other seasonal spirits.

The owners of Ashlynn Distillery share a love of local history. Their Summerseat Vodka got its name after the house where two signers of the Declaration of Independence, Robert Morris and George Clymer, once lived. Their home was even used by General George Washington during the Revolutionary War to be his military headquarters.

In addition to drinks, the establishment offers beautiful and tasty charcuterie boards that are packed with berries, various cheeses, cashews, tasty meats, seasoned olives, and more delights.

All the ingredients used at Ashlynn Distillery are locally sourced. Meanwhile, the owners are well versed in creating craft spirits using both old world and new world techniques.

There are also various events that offer added entertainment, including open mic nights, magic shows, and comedy shows.
