The township's Parks and Recreation department has announced a plethora of events for the new year.

A Bucks County high school student has just been selected to play in a major soccer league, a great continuation to his long sports career. Jim Brown wrote about the local player for the Philadelphia Sun.

Justin Brown, a senior at Pennsbury High School and member of the school’s men’s soccer team, was recently selected to the First Team All-League as a goalkeeper. The position will be within the Suburban One League of the PIAA District 1 Boys Varsity Soccer league.

Brown has acted as the senior lead captain of his school’s team, and has recently been selected among 24 other teams in their league. The Pennsbury Falcons have a long reputation of raising high-level athletes within their ranks, and Brown’s dedication to the sport and to his team have proved that long-standing tradition.

“I would say, just to stay consistent and persistent in their sport,” Brown said. “Listen to your coaches and work hard in practice.”
