A Bucks County nonprofit is working hard to supply local children with warm clothes for the upcoming winter weather.

The MAGIC Charities Foundation, a New Hope-based nonprofit, donated 140 winter coats to the Klinger Middle School in Southampton for its Warm Kids, Warm Hearts event on Nov. 30.

Another 100 winter coats, in both children’s and adult sizes, will be offered at the Centennial Farmer’s Market at Klinger Middle School on Dec. 8.

“While our programs reach beyond Bucks County, we have always had a special focus on our community needs. Through our long-standing relationship with the Klinger Middle School, we learned that families need essential winter layers right now, and we jumped in to help,” said Sharon Grosso, MAGIC Charities Foundation Executive Director.

“The coat donation this year has been split into two events, one serving Klinger school students directly, and we have the second donation set at the Centennial Farmer’s Market this week to reach more families in need.”
